The left nav bar?

I'm thinking of dropping the left nav bar.

It only links to the online documents and it causes me to provide a link to those pages twice, (Since I link them with the index page for that section aswell.

plus bookmark links have been added in the past few years which I have to link again too, Once on the doc and once on the nav bar.

Anybody find the left nav bar useful? is it just not worth keeping? or should i do something else with it?
Please let me know.


EDIT: I removed the left nav bar for now. I only used it myself not very often. The bookmark links I used even less. I'll reserve that space for future use.
If you have any ideas as to what to put there, feel free to tell me, thanks.

EDIT2: Okay, I placed the online documents on the right nav bar now, just with page links, no short cut links. Perhaps the way the docs where before was to overwhelming for visitors.

What about another nav bar / or use the top nav bar as quick links to certain pages on the site?

or is the right nav bar quick/hot links etc okay where they are?
