It looks like I need to space things out a bit more on the Site Information area of the right navbar.
I also thought about increasing the size of the text all around the entire site as I'm getting older and my eyes are in change with focusing on my monitor.
If theres a FONT or SIZE you prefer please let me know at any time.

I think the fonts are large enough, and easy to read. Keep in mind, Firefox and Chrome have a Zoom feature, to enlarge the web page, if so desired.
Also, all the best for 2019. Life is good.

Fonts; Well, If they are displaying well, which they do seem to, maybe no modification is really necessary.
Thanks Hank. Take it easy man.

Re: The right nav bar?
Okay, I maybe ditching the instant links on the right nav bar.
Instead I will just retain the perhaps the knowledge base links and they go to each division in the site anyhow.
This way newbies are not over whelmed with links and I will only have to update one page rather than two.
Any concerns or questions let me know soon!!
EDIT:
I went ahead and ditched the long list of links. I kinda like it without all those instant links into the site.
Instead there is the current index page for each division, gives room to write a description for the links.
It took me 30 mins to really know that I prefer it this way. Given the sites expansions in the future, it will be better for everyone.
If you don't like it you can make a personnel local gateway to the site, or on the net gateway. Like I had years ago. You'll just need to edit the gateway if links change.
Alright, still let me know what you think!?

Re: The right nav bar?
I really appreciate new shorter navigation bar! The old one, IMHO, was too long and confusing sometimes.
But on the other thought I think now it's a bit hard for people who new to this site to find the game they want.
I think it would be nice to see at the menu something like:
So the people can easily find the game they want right away without much digging into the site structure.
And while they reading the page regarding to the specific game they will have their time to understand the site layout better.
It's just my little observation, but I hope it helps.

Oh! I thought you where gonna chew my idea up and spit it out at me when I seen who posted.
But nope, some good feedback.
thanks.
I did have the BUILD Games listed with the long navbar, perhaps I will add them back in.
Just let me think about it.
EDIT:
I added back the Instant links of the games. plus the jump link at the top. Anything else?

I just have one small question: is there any particular reason why you named links as "tekwar", "duke-nukem3d", "witchaven2" and not as "TekWar", "Duke Nukem 3D", "Witchaven II" - i.e. with full normal game titles? It's visually a bit hard to notice what you're looking for when the game title transformed like that. I mean you already have links like "help-and-search.html" with the name "Help and Search" so you can set different names for the page links.
And if it's not much to ask I also suggest to rename links in "KNOWLEDGE BASE" navigation menu block such as "source-code", "documents-online", "downloads-rtcm", "downloads-dw", etc. to something more meaningful too like "Source Codes Info", "Online Technical Docs", "RTCM's Downloads", ""Dukeworld" File Archive", etc.
Thank you!
Re: The right nav bar?
Yeah, I moved away from putting proper titles on the links, instead I just used the names from the links instead. Like browsing a folder or something.
I can use proper names if you wish it., but I'll only do it in the navbar, not on the index pages of each section.
I hope my backwards thinking doesn't mess you up too much.
Feel free to note any other bother some things, in the proper threads.

Yes, we talking only about right navbar here. No need to change anything in the index pages.Corvin wrote:I can use proper names if you wish it., but I'll only do it in the navbar, not on the index pages of each section.
